While as a teacher one will never get rich monetarily,
the dividends that accumulate serving as a surrogate
parent, mentor, counselor, advisor and, of course,
teacher are significant. It is the mission of THA
Foundation to assist nontraditional students as they
pursue careers in the teaching field in grades EC-6.
We need committed teachers in our children's classrooms,
and it is the Foundation's desire to continue to support
as many nontraditional students as possible, even as
this 2011-2012 academic year we are assisting
62 students throughout the country as we provide over
$277,000 in scholarship funding.
As available scholarships and aid dwindle in number
and dollar amounts, the need becomes greater and
ever more critical.
We invite you to join with us in this worthy endeavor.
